As I sat listening to this album for the first time, I cried. It triggered so many emotions I could barely handle it. This is exactly the kind of music which pulls at my heart strings. Incredibly beautiful and epic. Sooo windirish but yet so unique !

Another Greek Black Metal offering by the masters that are Isolert! Full of fantastic ideas & novel approaches. Makes sure you also check out all of the other projects the musicians are part of: Insanity Cult, Human Serpent & Sørgelig. My only complaint? It is all over far too quickly! But ... they have many other albums so ... :) Highly recommended!

I'd say Havukruunu is the rightful holder of the Crown and the mantle of Quorthon. Epic choirs, vikingesque themes and tales from the other times, of the Finnish paganism back in the days before our ancestors were brought to the cross and forced to kneel while feeling the bloody sword of saviour on their throats made to kiss the hand of murderers who burnt thousands, tore down our holy places and took our holy days. Eyes teary I listen to these songs, never forgiving the crimes of the cross!

I see Michael Ford from "Black Funeral" is in this band. Black Funeral's chapter in the USBM book is fuckin awesome, I've read it twice. He's a cool muthafucker! This is a good album, thanks.
